More Information and FAQ on MissionHub split
We know that many of you have used MissionHub over the years as a tool to help facilitate ministry in your scope, whether for surveys, assigning contacts, recording comments, tracking ministry progress, or mass communication.
Many of you have also benefited from the natural-mode driven features of the MissionHub app in recent years, as a way to inspire people to take steps of faith with the people around them.
While we believe that both of these use-cases are significant, their combination in one product has had the unintended consequence of creating confusion and sometimes frustration for our staff and students.
In order to better serve you and your mission, Campus ministry leadership and the MissionHub product team have decided to split MissionHub into two products. We believe this will help avoid confusion and bring focus to each of the products.
To better serve you and your mission, we're splitting in two.
This will happen on July 1, 2020, and here’s what it will look like.
Campus Contacts
a simple contact management tool to find, connect, and communicate with people on your campus.
MissionHub
helping you and your faith community be intentional with the people around you, one step of faith at a time.
What this means for you and your team
When gathering and following up contacts
There are some moments in a school year where select people from your ministry team want to gather and follow up contacts. This is when you use Campus Contacts, a simple contact management tool to find, connect, and communicate with people on your campus. It is a fully functional website for the computer or phone.
All of your data in MissionHub’s contact management system will be transferred over for you to Campus Contacts. Campus Contacts will open July 1, 2020.
For your whole movement to live on mission
Throughout the whole year, you desire to see your ministry taking steps of faith with people where they live, work, have fun, and study. The MissionHub mobile app helps everyone in your ministry have a place to request prayer, ask spiritual questions, share God stories, respond to community needs, while being sent to take steps of faith with people in their life.
If your ministry has used the mobile app to take steps of faith, that community will stay available for you in MissionHub. If your ministry has only used the contact management pieces of the mobile app, that will transfer over to Campus Contacts. MissionHub is available today, on iOS and Android.

FAQ
Where will all my and my team's past activity and data go?
All of the Contact Management data from MissionHub will be transferred to Campus Contacts. We're making an exact copy of MissionHub and copying it over to Campus Contacts.
If you or your team have taken steps of faith with people as a part of a ministry, that ministry and steps of faith will be kept in MissionHub and available for you to continue to take steps of faith with people.
What is the link for Campus Contacts?
You will be able to access Campus Contacts at campuscontacts.cru.org. It will be live first week of July (we'll email you when it happens). You can go there now and bookmark the page, but if you happen to log in, it will currently be blank as we are still testing and setting things up.
Will I need to create a new account for Campus Contacts?
If you had an account with MissionHub before, you will use the same log in, which is based on Cru's Key/Relay identity system. If you are wanting access to a ministry in Campus Contacts, an Administrator of that ministry will need to invite you in.
Will there be a mobile app for Campus Contacts?
We've worked to make the website mobile friendly. You can do almost everything on your phone's mobile browser, and can use in Landscape or Portrait modes. You also can save the website to your phone's home screen so it has a tile image just like an app. Tap the icon and you're in the mobile web view.

Can my church use Campus Contacts?
Currently we're closing Campus Contacts to new ministries and churches outside of Cru. This is due to a few reasons, but it is mostly due to Cru's Divisional leadership teams working a process of how to create systems and structures to serve this need. If you had a ministry before July 2020, you will be able to add new ministries and sub-ministries (called sub-organizations).
Can my church use MissionHub?
Yes! MissionHub continues to be free and open to anyone wanting to be intentional with the people God has put around them. We've also made significant improvements to Communities, where you'll be able to Request Prayer, Share God Stories, Celebrate Steps of Faith, Make Announcements, and lots of other fun stuff to keep your ministry on mission. Send them to get.MissionHub.com to learn more and get started.
